Diane's redwood tree

A five-foot redwood tree now grows at the foot of Diane's grave site. It's the little tree at the end of the path (originally a wagon track) in the left part of this first photo. My gift to Diane which I will watch over and water during the summer until it's established.
We still plan to have a headstone made, but it won't be in place until late winter, after Diane's estate is sorted out. Plus it takes a number of weeks to be carved. I'm happy to be the guide for anyone who wants to visit the site.

Wishing you a peaceful and joyous holiday season,

Stacey (sdennick@comcast.net)

  4. Sigh. I miss her every day. I loved talking to her online via her blog. It's hard to believe she's not going to suddenly update all of us from some cozy retreat. :'(

  6. Is someone going to put Diane's me.com gallery somewhere else so her pictures don't get lost? There are some wonderful shots.
